The Cheap Wrap Tax

Tired of seeing this on every other wrap?

Most shops cut corners on prep, vinyl, or install time. You pay for it later — in bubbles, color mismatch, and paint damage.

01

Bubbles in 90 days

Bad prep traps air and moisture. Within months the wrap lifts at the edges, peels at the seams, and your $3,000 install starts looking like a sticker book.

02

The color isn't the color

You approved gloss midnight blue. You got something between navy and burnt rubber. Bad shops don't sample first — you find out when the truck rolls off the lift.

03

Paint damage on removal

Cheap vinyl + bad heat technique = lifted clearcoat when you remove it. What was supposed to protect your paint just destroyed the resale value of your car.

At isellwraps, every install gets premium vinyl, full prep, and a 5-year warranty.

04 Finished vehicle reveal

Days 2–5

Install

Vehicle dropped, prepped, wrapped, inspected. Most cars finished in 2–3 days. Fleets done in batches.

First 90 days

On the road

Locals start recognizing your truck. Commercial wraps generate 30K+ impressions per day in Tampa traffic.

Common questions

Things people ask before booking.

Real answers to real concerns. If yours isn't here, call (813) 998-7622 and we'll talk straight.

How long does a vehicle wrap last?

With premium 3M or Avery vinyl and a quality install, expect 5–7 years outdoors and longer if garage-kept. We back every install with a 5-year warranty on adhesion.

Will the wrap damage my paint?

No — if the wrap is installed correctly and the original paint is in good condition. Vinyl actually protects the paint underneath. Cheap shops with bad heat technique cause damage on removal. We don't.

Can I wrap a leased vehicle?

Yes — this is one of the most common reasons people wrap. We remove the wrap before lease return with no penalty, since the paint stays original underneath.

How much does a full wrap cost?

Personal color-change wraps start at $2,500 and run to $3,500+ for specialty finishes (chrome, color-shift). Partial wraps and accents start at $300. Commercial fleets from $1,500. Signs and avisos from $200.

How long does install take?

Most personal vehicles: 2–3 days. Commercial vans and trucks: 3–5 days. Fleets: scheduled in batches. Storefront signs typically 1–2 days. Industrial projects depend on access and scale.

Do you do design, or do I bring my own?

Both. We have an in-house designer who can build your wrap from scratch — included in commercial projects. If you bring your own design, we'll prep it for print and confirm proportions before install.

Can you wrap a Cybertruck, Jeep, or specialty vehicle?

Yes. We've wrapped Cybertrucks (see our shark Navy build), Jeep Wranglers, Tampa Police vans, food trucks, trailers, and a 12-foot industrial silo. If you can drive it or park it, we can wrap it.

Do you offer bilingual service?

Yes — we work fully in English and Spanish, from quote to install to warranty paperwork. Most of our Tampa clients prefer Spanish, and we deliver signs in both languages on the same project.
